Who We Are

Jen Langeskov
Founder and Director

Jen is a practising artist who studied Fine Art at Camberwell College of Art, London, and later completed a Master’s in Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts. A qualified teacher of Art and Design, she brings over 20 years of experience teaching in both primary and secondary schools across London, Norfolk, and Suffolk. She is also a trained Philosophy for Children (P4C) practitioner and, over the past decade, has developed her own distinctive approach to fostering Creative and Critical Thinking through art, working with hundreds of children and young people. Through this work, Jen has helped countless young people to build communication skills, confidence, problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of the world around them—supporting not only their learning in school but also their relationships at home and their ability to navigate friendships, family dynamics, and interactions with teachers. Her practice focuses on supporting wellbeing through creative engagement, offering carefully designed art programmes that nurture communities of enquiry, curiosity, and collaboration, tailored to the needs of specific groups.

Alongside Arting Around, Jen has an Art Education Consultation practice, supporting primary and secondary schools with Art & Design curriculum, Art GCSE & A Level, teacher development and strategic design for a rich and broad arts provision.
